Need a big game from Geno and solid play (limited fouls) from James and McCarty.

NIU defeats WMU AND Akron defeats Buffalo

Last game I said we needed to get off to a better start and for James to play better...none of those things happened, but NIU won. So...get a W however you want.

And to show the nature of this conference---best team, Bowling Green playing the worst team, Miami and BG only a three point favorite. Hoping you all have a pocket full of quarters to pick the tournament this year.

Let's hope we don't lay an egg like we did exactly 2 weeks ago against the worst team in the MAC Miami of Ohio who were missing their top 2 scorers!

We never had a lead in that game and were always about 7 points behind on average.

Sigh. So disappointing. I still have confidence that the other guys can keep this close for a half and we'll be back at full strength for the final 20 minutes.
