South Carolina Primary - Predictions/Discussion/Results
In what could be Joe Biden's last stand, the South Carolina primary is 6 days away.

Real Clear is showing 3 polls for February in this race.
The earliest one had Biden up 5 points over Bermie
The 2nd one the lead was down to 3
The final one actually had them tied!!

With Bernie's dominant Nevada win, with a strong showing amongst the Hispanic vote, he has a real opportunity to cement his status as the frontrunner and show that he can amass the necessary delegates to win this thing on the 1st ballot.

Biden will have a more decent showing in SC, but won’t be enough.

I’ve already resigned myself in figuring that it’s Trump vs Bernie in November.

Bernie is tearing down that "firewall" and putting the final nail in Slow Joe's campaign.

if so, you pointed out how his VP selection would be critical....w/o question, it's becoming more likely by the day and will easily become the focal point moving forward....

in addition, I would then get to lick my chompers with b0j0 and our prearranged sig bet... 03-wink

I agree South Carolina is Biden's last stand. But where is the Joe love this morning? After all, he is likely going to finish 2nd in Nevada, which will mark the first time in his presidential aspiration history that he finished higher than 4th in a primary/caucus!

The fact he has never won a single presidential primary vote is pretty eye-opening, since it seems to me like he has been running for it for 40 years or so, lol.

Good point. I think the MSM is being very unfair here. A clear bias towards CIA Pete, who's second-place finishes they hyped up like victories. I really think a 20+ point defeat should be given a little more respect! 03-lmfao

Biden up 5 point in the latest CBS poll.

If Biden does win though, it may be to little to late as Super Tuesday is only 2 days later.

He needs to win big here to convince Super Tuesday voters he is the non Bernie guy

I'm going to be very interested to see if Steyer can actually make his money convert into any real block of voters in any state. He sunk a lot of money into Nevada and it got him all of 9% on the first ballot. South Carolina is where he's spent the most money and polls the best so this is gonna be a good test for how many actual votes you can buy. Can he actually surpass 15% there? Does he beat Rat Pete?

Im finding this upcoming primary to be the most interesting so far.

Can Bernie win in the South?
Can Biden shore up his claim on the African American vote?
Can Steyer prove his one state experiment was worthwhile?
Can Bloomberg show anything at all that makes him a remotely likeable human being
Can the others make a dent?

Biden said you came up with the "firewall" term, not him.

If Biden wins SC he'll be in it for another month, lose and he's out the next day.

I just saw a clip where Biden told a reporter he never said SC was his firewall. They immediately showed a clip where he said exactly that.

I think that's a risky gamble for republicans. I don't think Bernie can beat trump, but I'm almost certain Biden can't. He inspires nobody. Bernie generates a lot of enthusiasm for his base, much like Trump did for his. That could pull people on the fringes in to vote. I bet Trump had a lot of votes from people who hadn't cared to vote in years.

Biden wins close...but feels the Bern. Styer ends his campaign after blowing his wad into a sock. The rest leave knowing they have no shot going forward. We might see more exit due to funding.
