Very lucky to be down by only 9 points! Shot maybe 30 percent for the half! Is Barnes still on the team? If so he needs to be getting some of Morgans minutes! Morgan is this years Jackson, loves to go one and one, and simply is a very poor shooter! He's shooting 38 percent from the field! James needs more shots, and minutes! Once again Murphy's decisions are very poor, on who shoot be shooting the ball!

This is why gamblers shouldn't bet on single games, or worse yet, halves.

I thought EMU would kill Central in the 1st half. They are reeling and this is their 3rd game in 5 days (Tuesday, Thursday, & today). They were down in Miami Thursday and now at EMU.

And EMU can't hit anything and can't get their fastbreak offense working and it dissolves into a sluggish half court game.

Maybe the 2nd half will be MUCH different. That would be my bet

Dear Friends,
Do we really expect superlative play after the comments by Murphy? I would (if a player) go out and play like crazy to show Murphy that no matter, I will perform. That's just me.

I have been critical but never about this team's effort. Today I am critical of their effort, lazy passes and silly turnovers. Defensive lapses.

Prefer not to wait. CMU and WMU fans are also looking for coaching changes. I'd like to see EMU do it first.

Today's lesson:

A game is 40 minutes, 2 halves.

They won the first half; we won the 2nd. The exact opposite of Tuesday's game.

Glad we won on Senior Day. But I won't call it impressive. Remember that 1. CMU played it's 3rd game in 5 days, 2. CMU was on a 7 game losing streak, and 3. we were at home with a decent crowd. Despite all that we had to make two 14-point comebacks.

Again, I'm happy to see us get the win on Senior Day. But play like that at WMU or at Toledo and we'll be playing a road game in the MAC Tourney 1st round.
