Would like to know a little about each team if possible. For FSU, their strengths are pitching, pitching, pitching. The starting pitching has not allowed an earned run so far. The likely starting pitcher for the midweek game is a freshman, though not sure which. Cinci will see preseason AA CJ Van Eyk, Shane Drohan and Connor Grady, all three are juniors and were starting pitchers last season as well.

Hitting has been a mixed bag. FSU dropped the first game of the season thanks to a poor performance at the plate along with a bone headed decision to let a true freshman try to close out the 9th inning. FSU bats would wake up and go on to smoke Niagara in the next 2 games.

Players to watch for FSU are Robby Martin, Mattheu Nelson, Dylan Simmons and Reese Albert (if his bat would wake up).

Our infield defense has been atrocious. If you can just get the ball in play then there is a good chance you can reach base on an error.

Should be a fun week.
