I know they aren't in CUSA, but does anybody know how the Ragin Cajuns from Lafayette, LA did opening weekend?

Wasn't really a lack of hitting, though I'm also concerned with the lack of home runs. We gave up four runs in the second on one hit (a leadoff single). We walked and hit batters like crazy that inning. If you take that away, it's not close.

They did great! They almost, kind of, won one game. If they keep practicing they'll get that first win.

frisco--You could not have been at The Tigue because you are dead wrong. I saw very few tech fans all weekend and you certainly didn't have us outnumbered at anytime.

So far, not great. Hard to gauge a team from the first weekend/week after a coaching change. Especially a change like we had. We will be ok, just not sure how long it will take. Hopefully we will be back to hosting regionals and supers before long.

Idk about Ruston as a whole but Tech doesn’t exactly have an overwhelming amount of rednecks. I’m from Arkansas, I’d know.

Nickname’s pretty rich considering a Cajun is just a redneck with wet feet and a can of Tony’s.

I thought neck was what the LSU band played.

I wasn't aware that there had been a coaching change down there.

EDIT: I just looked it up and don't know if I somehow missed Robichaux's death and Deggs taking over or if that data was somehow completely removed from my limited cranial capacity.
