RE: Grizz Playoff chances
The schedule for our remaining 32 games, 19 are on the road, is brutal. Of those 19 road games, 8 are at West playoff teams, 4 at East playoff teams. With the season two thirds over we're unfortunately through playing the Warriors, the Suns but we've yet to play the Blazers. That's two games in Portland in addition to two more games with New Orleans that seems to have our number this year. Plus home games with the Lakers, Celtics, Raptors and Sixers. Very tough indeed.

As you both mentioned we have a very tough schedule ahead.

It's been a fun season but our schedule is about to get brutal.

Yeah. It'll be a struggle to play .500 ball but if the team stays focused and keeps up the play, it's possible. It's gonna be an uphill battle for the other 3 teams in contention as well since they have to have a winning record by a decent margin moving forward.

Gonna be hard to win tough games without those veterans. Hill and Crowder made big plays when things got tough. Gotta see what the new guys bring to the table.

Crowder and Hill wouldn't have helped us scoring at all last night maybe a little defensively.

JJJ and Brooks got in early foul trouble and we sputtered. Philly was on fire and had a player shoot out of his mind.. We could have used Dieng and Winslow.

Sometimes teams just fire on all cylinders. We were down 33 at one point.

Josh Jackson didn't look ready to play last night. Careless passes. Yuta had a nice game.

But it's going to be tough going forward.

We still need someone who can fill it up besides Brooks.

Wish we had gone after Oubre for Jones, Anderson and change. Oubre would have definitely been a difference maker going forward for us.

Portland lost so we are still 2-1/2 games on Portland. It was a bad call at the end but we will take it.

The game against Portland before the all star break will be big.

You know we are in the playoff hunt when Lillard is sweating this game this early in the year.

Whoda thunk it?

I think we finish around 37 wins, miss playoffs, with the 11th or 12th best odds in the lottery, which is perfect for conveying to Boston. Hopefully all the Eastern Conference rejects stay below .400, and we stay above it.

Portland plays New Orleans tonight in New Orleans before they play us in a back to back tomorrow night. Ingram may be out for New Orleans.
