Great game. Not a kc fan but definitely an Andy Reid fan.

RE: OT: Super Bowl LIV
In 2015 when Tech played Texas Tech I said Patrick Mahomes was one the best college quarterbacks I had ever seen play. And that was going to be a great NFL QB

MTSU said Stockstill was just as good as Mahomes... I'm not kidding go look it up

Not sure what the difference between those two things are, but I don’t think that’s correct (did they say that on the telecast?). I think Lynn Swann still has that distinction. He was 23 I believe when he won the MVP crown in 1976.

Youngest to win MVP and Super Bowl title
Youngest to win Super Bowl MVP

Had to Looked it up, Mahomes won MVP last year and Lamar Jackson won MVP this year becoming the youngest ever to win the award ousting Mahomes from last year

RE: OT: Super Bowl LIV
Ah. That second part is still wrong, but I suppose you can say he's the youngest QB to win the Super Bowl MVP (Big Ben was younger when his team won the Super Bowl, but he wasn't the MVP that game - Ward Hines was).

I think the Chiefs could be really good for some time to come, but I don't know if I think he'll be able to put together a run like Tom Brady and the Pats have. For one thing, there are a lot of really good young QB's in the AFC (Lamar Jackson like you say, and then DeShaun Watson too of the Texans). But the other thing is all three of those guys are going to have to show they can stay healthy, and I'm not sure if that's the case if they try to run too much. Look at Cam Newton as an example as to what can happen there (although Newton is bigger and a slightly different type QB).

The other thing about KC is you wonder if they can hold onto all of their best players since it's such a small market (the KC Royals had a super quick run at the top). The one thing to their advantage over say Houston is their OL is much better. Nonetheless, they're a deserving team and the AFC continues to show it's the elite league.

Not sure Yelder played a snap last night, but he gets a ring and was active for game. Yelder just like Jack Doyle former walk on Tight End from WKU. Being a Titans fans at least we lost to champion...

Who all had someone on the teams?

MT had a player on both teams.

Chavarius Ward started at cornerback for the Chiefs and finished with four tackles.

Richie James got most of his action on special teams and is the 49ers kick and punt returner.

FAU LB Azeez Al-Shaair is on the 49ers roster and played in 15 games in the regular season. I do not know if he was on the roster for the Super Bowl.

He has been used predominantly on special team during the season.

Chiefs CB Keith Reaser also played at FAU but he has been out for the season with an achilles injury.

Southern Miss had 2 on the SF roster...

Tavarius Moore is a backup safety that plays in Nickel and Dime packages. He had an INT and was also called for the PI vs Kelce in the end zone.

Nick Mullens is the #2 QB behind Garoppolo.

He was calling plays that got people open downfield. Jimmy G was just not making the throws

Him not calling a time out before half when KC was punting was the beginning of the end. You have to play for at least some points. He didn't trust Jimmy G.

The Falcons held a peak winning probability of 99.6% in Super Bowl LI.

The 49ers held a peak winning probability of 95.3% in Super Bowl LIV.

The Falcons and 49ers were outscored 52-17 in the second half/OT.

What's the common thread?
