Even when I post non religious subjects, people just instantly derail them and drag my religion into it every time. There really is no subject I can talk about anymore without it happening.

I think maybe its time I just say goodbye.

A really good trait to have (or develop) is the ability to ignore knuckleheads.

Well, for whatever it’s worth some of us (speaking for myself but hopefully other as well) find many of your posts interesting and instructive.

I know my basics, but haven’t been through confirmation for some time. A refresher here and there, time to time is certainly welcome.

I’d ask you to stick around. No knock on anyone else, more voices are always better voices. I’ve learned/remembered a lot reading your posts.

Everyone knew about Kobe's helicopter travel habits and he was very very famous. There are better messages from God than this.

Who said anything about a message from God? 01-wingedeagle01-wingedeagle01-wingedeagle

That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard.

While I don’t know much about Kobe Bryant, I can say he died of affluenza. Not many middle class kids get rides to basketball practice in helicopters. It is possible to die in a car accident while taking your kid to practice but I would guess that travel in helicopters would probably be more dangerous per hour of travel. Many celebrities have perished in helicopters though. If it were me, I’d hire a driver.

I would NEVER get in a helicopter, I don't care what the statistics say.

All famous people ride helicopters all the time, there was nothing unique about Kobe regularly using helicopters in the LA area. Athletes, actors, musicians, billionaires, CEO's all use them all the time. None of them have a cartoon of them dying in a helicopter crash, it bursting into flames, and then it actually happening to them.

The vid is creepy and eerie, no matter how much scoffers try to pretend otherwise.

I've heard his wife and he had an agreement not to ride in the same helicopter at the same time.

Don't do it Eric. That's what the evil one wants you to do. Even if some of the guys here mock you and make fun of Jesus should not be a reason to stop showing us his Word. It's on them and not you. God gives us the First Amendment too but in the end we do have to explain our words to Him.

Like I said, it's on them at the end.

Don't go.

Hearing now that before Kobe and his daughter got on that helicopter they were at early church. And had arrived early, before 7:00, to take communion. Gives me a little better feeling about him and comfort for his and his daughters soul. RIP.
