Remember in 2013 when Kentucky's #1 recruiting class lost their #1 recruit? Despite having a seasoned, and experienced coach, they went on to lose in the 1st round of the NIT to Robert Morris.
When JW announced that he was not coming back, this was the thought that entered my mind but I didn't want to say it out loud. Hopefully, the Tigers will get this thing turned around, but if not, the foreseeable future is still brighter than it was just a couple of years ago.

Wiseman leaving has hurt this team...No doubt.

But Wiseman leaving has also exposed this staff inability to be flexible. There is plenty of talent to be successful in the AAC yet we are still trying to play in a way that does not fit our current roster.

Malcolm can be a good 5 man...Probably would have more productive minutes that Tyler or Baugh but he cannot play because Penny wont run a defense that allows him to play.

Running the high screen and role with Alo is useless if all they have to do is go under the screen and the big stays with his man. What is the purpose of that play when you don't get a switch and Alo isn't able to shoot it or take advantage by going to the hole.

I understand Penny wants to put his best defensive players on the floor and I value that decision...But if he is going to do that he is going to have to be more creative on the offensive end of the floor. The best defensive players aren't going to be able to get their own shots.

The best thing Penny, the staff and team can do is ignore this place
