Senior Bowl recap
I was at the Senior bowl where we experienced maybe the worst football fan experience ever.
30 minutes wait for shuttle from Hank Aaron stadium, 30 minute line to get into one of 6 gates into stadium, bathrooms flooded before game started, no paper towels, concession line waits >45 minutes, half concessions not staffed.
It was a near sellout because Jalen Hurts played and a ton of Alabama fans showed up wearing his jerseys.
Jalen got sacked 4 times and threw a pick in the first half. It was a beyond terrible start for him.

On the good side it was a beautiful sunny 60+ degree day perfect for the last college football game of the season. The fans were friendly and the bands incredible.

Memphis Antonio Gibson played really well at running back. He had 4-5 plus 5 yard rushes and several first downs. He might have been the best south RB if he hadn’t had to split time so much.
Perine was a local HS product with a lot of fans. But the South offensive line was atrocious. Several women behind me were complaining about the offensive line play it was so bad and obvious. Also the new Bengals coaching staff was awful with tons of penalties and very unimaginative play calling. Gibson had 5 runs in a row at one point because it was the only thing that worked but he had a lot of yards after contact and was rarely not hit at the line of scrimmage or backfield.

Herbert was the best QB easily and won MVP. The North won 34-17 bc of 3 TDs in 3rd quarter.
We could see the half a mile line forming for the shuttles in the street so we left during the 4th quarter. Unfortunately immediately afterwards Jalen hit Jennings for a nice TD pass once we were outta the stadium. I had leaned over to the local teenager next to me that I thought that combo would score about an hour earlier, but alas....

There was no cell service for hours, but I kept trying to look up the Memphis score. While in the hour long shuttle line, I caught the Memphis score, and told my brother
“Well at least Memphis is winning 70-59 with 6 minutes left.”

The shuttle took another half hour to go 3 miles through stadium traffic, the biggest $10 savings mistake of my life. Another hour to get home. I hadn’t eaten anything all day. Both drive thrus I pulled up to had 10 cars snaked around buildings so I drove off...

Got home and my dog was turning purple. He ate his food and drank so fast that he immediately threw up. I made a bowl of cereal.
Sat down and looked up the Memphis final score.....

What. The. Fu**!

Even after all that, I feel more sorry for all y’all that had to watch it....

Antonio Gibson of Memphis led the South team with 68 yards rushing on 11 carries.

RE: Senior Bowl recap
Thanks, I couldn’t find the box score anywhere and Gibson did look better than Perine.
The north scored easily on a wide open 60+ yard wheel route that I wished the South would have run, bc Gibson would have done the same.

Any guesses on Gibson’s draft status?

Don't know but....this game should have gotten him on more NFL team radars.

RE: Senior Bowl recap
It for sure helped him. He is on the front page, and is the first player listed on this site. IMO, he showed a lot more potential than Pollard aside from putting up better numbers...and Pollard was great for Dallas.
