Stony Brook just issued a press release that described SNU as a world institution. If it as started before 1960 and had a bigger stadium, it would have been a BIG institution with its AAU status.

CAA schools are lining up to follow SBU, as it has everything they want to be.

Good for them... the ASUN still will not have FBS, or any football.

With all the athletic improvements at UTC, including a $22 million remodel of the FB stadium, UTC has to be thinking FBS.

Jacksonville St. Chattanooga and Kennesaw St will be a favorable triangle for the ASUn's fb aspirations.

Youngstown St is starting Women’s lax next year, presumably to offset FBS.

EKU could be their travel partner.

The CAA schools that will join the ASun are JMU, Delaware, Stony Brook, Albany, UNH and maybe Maine or Towson.

Along with Chattanooga and Jack St, that makes ten new schools.
