I did not insult you. I simply pointed out as we've seen with this conference that going undefeated means you can claim your national champions. If, as you said, UConn goes 13-0 then following the example of others we can put "national champions" inside our stadium and maybe print up some t-shirts.

Those rare events when not making a bowl is better than making one....

ucf didnt claim a title because they were undefeated... they claimed a title because they ranked #1 in the colley matrix..
in the official ncaa rule book, you can claim a title if one of about 8 polls ranks you #1..one was the colley matrix

usc claimed a title when lsu won the bcs title because a poll ranked the #1 (both went to white house)...bama has numerous "titles" where they werent even close to #1 on a main poll but were ranked #1 on an obscure poll...
ND retro actively gave themselves titles prior to 1920s by having after the fact polls made (no polls before then)

what ucf did isnt out the ordinary, the powers that be just didnt like the fact that it was an outsider doing it..

your whole point about claiming a title because undefeated makes zero sense with any research, but its my degree that needs to be refunded
