With Raymond Gillespie coming back and finally a 2nd year with the same Oline coach, our line could be one of the best in the country next year so I can see whoever wins the QB job having plenty of time in the pocket. All the RBs are back so I think our offense will be much the same as last years. Secondary and interior d line should be the strengths of the team on defense. I think it'll be a very strong JMU team next year but we'll see how things come together

I’ll be at every other playoff game if possible. Reminder to purchasers that it’s not OK to run out of stadium beer mid-1st quarter when hosting the semifinals.
I wouldn’t have minded to be inside of the stadium mid-1st quarter to find out if they’d run out of beer in Frisco. Inexcusable to have such a clusterf&*# trying to get in.

Although Frisco was VERY unprepared beer-wise when we played YSU, I was actually referencing JMU running out of Beer this past year. Frisco seems to have fixed their beer supply for our games there since YSU. I just know I’m not paying to fly to Texas to miss part of the game on account of stadium staff not giving a $hit.

Have to say I agree with this. Lined up 45 minutes early in frisco and missed most of the first quarter and JMU TD - inexcusable for an NCAA Championship. Frisco does not deserve the championship after this BS - if its played this spring the NCAA should move it to another venue - and to my knowledge, not even an explanation or apology from the NCAA or Toyota stadium hosts.

Literally NOTHING in response to my feedback. They DON'T CARE so I won't attend.

Same for me. Nothing from the NCAA, Frisco, or Toyota Stadium. Not even a standardized response.

Before committing to tickets for the natty last year, I considered tailgating in the stadium parking lot with my crew pre-game, then walking across the street to a nice, warm sports bar, then coming back to tailgate after the game. In retrospect, I wish I had done that.

If JMU is there then I'll always do my best to be there, but yeah definitely agree the experience could be much better. I see it more as supporting the Dukes despite the venue, but can definitely understand not wanting to support the venue. For the three Frisco games I was at the game, then BWW in Harrisonburg, then the game. I absolutely prefer to go to the game, but B Dub's full of JMU fans with literally every single TV on the same game was a pretty cool experience too other than the result of the game. A manager there that knew I would always lead the "C-A-P-S CAPS CAPS CAPS!" after goals for playoff games asked me to do the "First down, J-M-U!" for that game but every first down quickly got to feel obnoxious and like it was a bit much 03-lmfao

Yeah, people talked about this in Jan on another thread. I was in line in front of the JMU side about 45 min early/10:15, and got into the stadium about 10:45. Within a few minutes after I got in line, I remember that a sea of people seemed to come at once (maybe a couple thousand), and the people towards the back of that mass were going to be screwed. Thought someone said the other entrance wasn't as bad. If there's another time, and if I do go, will shoot for at least an hr early.

RE: NDSU ---- We're Baaaaack!
I was also in line at least 45 minutes early and as kickoff neared I was not getting any closer to the front. Eventually my politeness and understanding went by the wayside so I bumrushed the line and slithered in and only missed 1/2 of the first quarter. Inexcusable! To have just 2 people doing the screening was utterly ridiculous. Somebody mentioned the entrance on the endzone side would’ve been the best bet, but nobody knew and after waiting in line so long it wasn’t worth the risk to give up your spot in line to find out that entrance was just as jacked up. That the people working didn’t do better to coordinate, use radios and direct people to the gate not busy was pathetic. And despite the various people voicing their displeasure, nobody cared enough to even give some lame BS apology or excuse. They got your money and didn’t care.
