RE: UT against WSU
I listened to Coach during the post game remarks, say that Wright State is a very good team. A team that we should play every year. Granted that, but I wished he would have said; these are the type of teams we have to beat at home, no excuses.

I’ve been following UT since Eddie Melvin and coach K isn’t even an Eddie Melvin! We need to play more games against NW Ohio.
Right on, team is not very athletic, no ball handles, some skill, middle of the road team.
First half through the MAC schedule could be pretty rough, but I still think (translation: hope) that this team will improve bit by bit as we approach the MAC tournament. Lately, one or two starters have been off their game, and while the bench play hasn't been terrible, we do need somebody to step up as a scorer instead of just 2 or 3 guys filling some minutes. That could still be Saunders if he fights through this phase he's stuck in at the moment. I also like some of what TJ Smith brings to the floor.

Smith looks much better than I thought. Has a junk yard dog mentality. If, as K said, we are losing hustle plays, Smith needs more floor time because his motor is racing full time.

Coach K wants more production from the bench. To produce, they have to play some decent minutes. Versus Wright State, Bizeau had 5 minutes, Smith had 6 minutes and Maranka had 3 minutes. (Saunders did get 19 minutes and was 1 for 6 from the field.)

Any consolation, WSU is favorite to win the horizon and head to NCAA Tournament.
