My time here is over. I've been insulted to the point where I can't express my opinion anymore without leading to false assumptions. What a shame the above thread has opened my eyes to the level of intellect I'm dealing with on this board. It's sad really, because there aren't too many forums on the internet where UCF fans can participate in "discussion" with fellow alumni and students. All I asked in the above thread (and perhaps I might have been a little rude - but it's been building up) was for UCF fans to forget about what's going on at USF and focus on our program instead. That lead to numerous insults and questioning of my character. I didn't come here to start any arguments or to anger any of you, and if I did I sincerely apologize. I regret any negative comments I may have said that might have directly or indirectly led to the replies I've seen.

Since it will make the UCF posters on this board feel better, I'll leave now. But keep this in mind - we may disagree on whether attendance figures at USF are important, but I'll always bleed black and gold. And you won't keep me away from attending games (home or away) no matter how insulting and ignorant some of you appear to be. So if you even decide to go to a game in the near future, remember to ask the guy sitting next to you if he's KnightTrain. I would love to carry on this conversation in person.....

Dear God, give it a day and this will be over, if you are a UCF Grad (I'm not saying you're not) you will stick it out... Just tell them something that will win them over, like a quote that only a UCf diehard would know, like who was the (on record) NFL great to say that Daute would be an NFL great (about the same time his first NCAA pass was thrown at the CB)!!! Hint, he was at the game in 96..... Also what did Daunte do with that first pass?

Hey LXA, Daunte's first game was against EKU on August 31, 1995, not in '96. He went 20/25 with 3 TD's and no picks. I was there. After that game and seeing him in person, it was me and everyone else in the stadium (all 13,422) that said he was going to be a great NFL QB some day. Who cares about whatever NFL player might have said the same....

Dude, I graduated in 1994 but when I was there I went to the Knight Out Pub accross the street from campus. It's was behind the Pizza Hut, and I spent many nights there staggering home. The movie theater (and entire shopping center) you're referring to is at the corner of University Blvd. and Alayfaya. I was there when it was built in the early/mid 1990's. Can't remember the name of the theater (who cares really?), but I think it's the one you're talking about. There's a McDonald's in the parking lot. I always wanted to open a Hooters in that area. Used to fish in Lake Claire. My folks live in nearby Oviedo.

No offense, but you already stabbed my back in the other post (when you changed your original post - don't think I didn't see that). I appreciate the attempt to support me, but it's now out of guilt as opposed to respect. I shouldn't have had to prove myself to you to win that support. It was a matter of respecting my opinion and refraining from the verbal abuse, or in your case another false assumption. Judas was not able to save Christ after he turned Him in....

yes you are right, but my post said, "If he is a USF guy, I'm changing my post :)" in humor.... The first post said, well said (in reference to "I'm tired of the UCf guys post negative coments about USF" dude, listen up, I'm the ONLY one on your side so far.... I'm only saying that I beleive you...... This is a simple offer of peace... I am on your side and just told another UCF guy that I trust you are a true UCF grad!!!!

I missed this post, sorry…. I got the year wrong, you are right (it was the year I was a freshman 1995)... I was referring to Joe Namath (I think he was at the game or was talking about it on TV). When Daunte's first pass went for the score!!!!!!!!!!!! Had a few beer that day, but "think" I remember it!!!

1996 was the first year in 1A.....

KnightTrain, feel free to speak whatever you want, it is still a free country. Look, I don't care if you graduated from UCF or not, maybe youre a misguided fan, I don't know, prolly never will know. Be forewarned though most UCF fans really do hate USF, and likewise, many USF fans hate us. Do you think FSU fans speak fondly of the Gators, or do Texas Longhorn fans praise A&M?? No! I mean those two schools have smack talk in each others fight songs for crying out loud! We went over this before and I am starting to feel like a broken record, they can provide us an excellent in-state rivalry and when the rivalry begins starting in 2005, they will be the biggest games both schools ever had. I know you feel it would be a waste of time, and I remember you claiming that you rather a rivalry started with the likes of FSU, UF, or Miami, which I believe is more of a waste of time. It doesn't shock me that some of the other UCF posters feel you are a USF puppet or some sort of Benedict Arnold, if you go out and say that our smack talk against USF is assinine, then yes your authenticity would be questionable. Remember how Ryan Schneider was basically excommunicated from exchanging helmet stickers with a USF player which he placed right on his helmet, the USF guy didn't follow suit!! It was a burn felt by most, if not all, of the Golden Knight supporters. Slamming USF is a pasttime, maybe a waste of time, but its fun, and its the middle of Summer, what else to gripe about?

no you are correct, I know it is closed. Just wanted to see if I could get a UC7 out of anyone. The good old days!

UC7 closed after Waterford opened sometime around 98 or 99 I think. I remember seeing "The Spy Who Shagged Me" there - the only movie I saw there. Otherwise I went to Waterford or Oviedo Mall all the time.

yea, I think I only saw 2-3 movies there, I think my last was the Titanic... Not sure of the year. Oviedo was the first new theater for me then the new Waterford opened.
