The American should be working with the Mountain West and BYU for a two games. Basically AAC 1-3, MWC 1-3, BYU, and at-large ( which could be a power conference team, Army, AAC, or Mountain West.

USM trying to talk trash is amusing, I didn’t even know that southern miss still existed never mind had fan’s who could read & use the internet.

How does it feel for Tulane to be irrelevant in athletics for decades & spotting USM that head start only for us to end up in a batter conference, with better players, coaches and will crush USM in a bowl game that was disappointing to our team ?

Also it took our new basketball coach 10 minutes to put a team together to kick USM’s ass in basketball.

NY6 & Liberty are good matchups. The rest is trash, Birmingham & Military are against bad ACC teams that are barely bowl eligible. 3 CUSA teams, a conference that didn’t have a single team ranked at all this year in the AP or CFP. Tulane deserves their matchup being 6-6 but everyone else deserves a better matchup. Especially with how we dominated the G4 OOC this year, they shouldn’t be our post season reward.

SMU is playing the CUSA champion; that’s not disgraceful. UCF is playing Marshall; an old rival with a great tradition, in Tampa, that’s not awful. Tulane is 6-6, so playing their old rival, Southern Miss, is actually pretty awesome. Otherwise the AAC is playing 4 P5 teams. This is really decent. Projections less than a week ago showed the AAC having only 2 P5 opponents in bowl games.... that would have sucked.

Well the AAC has to start going more than 500 on bowls before bitching about match ups. For UCF the match up and bowl stink, but it is an easy trip. We have been bad on the road, so I won't sound confident of the outcome.

That sucks. Reminds me how won the conference in 2017 and got a 6-6 MAC opponent in the bowl. That was very unfortunate. At least, this time, winning the conference brought in a 10-2 AAC opponent.

Cincy got screwed over in that regard. But they should win, assuming they can get up for the game.
