Great games. Isn't Cinn / Memphis a regional rivalry dating back to the CUSA days and prior to that. It certainly would make a great annual rivalry for all sports for the AAC like the "WAR on 4" going forward.

It was weird but UC/Louisville was a rivalry, Memphis/Louisville was a rivalry, but UC/Memphis was not really a rivalry back then (and this predates C-USA, the schools were linked in the Metro and UC and Memphis were in the Great Midwest together as well).

Since Louisville won't play us anymore, UC really doesn't have a rival anymore in football; but I think there is potential for UC/Memphis to finally develop into one. Playing every year certainly will help getting it there.
