Today at 1:30pm for those interested. There's usually some good info coming out of these.

RE: December BOT Meeting
Reg. quarterly meeting. The next one in March is where the annual state of the athletic dept. is usually released. Still lots of good info to sift through.

ETA: There is however an agenda item entitled Athletics Committee up for discussion during the Governance and Finance committee meeting. Sadly, no supporting materials are provided.

RE: December BOT Meeting
Looks like the university just missed out on Carnegie R1 status this last time around and should be well above the cutoff when the next report comes out. This his HUGE news coupled with Tier 1 status for the next round of realignment. Memphis doesn't have to be elite academically just above those min. thresholds. Amazing progress on those fronts.

Thanks for always providing updates on relevant matters, that sometimes get missed with the focus on major sports. Your intentions are noted and appreciated.

Whoever doesn't believe our administration is kicking tail and has a plan for all aspects of this University to reach heights it has never seen simply isn't paying attention.

That's a major reason why I am not worried about whether a coach goes or stays, I trust that they will have the next steps forward already mapped out.

Absolutely. This is probably the biggest thing that could possibly happen for the UofM right after having our own Board of Trustees.
