It’s finals week at ULM, so I’m not sure how much practice and prep the team will do for this one. We might not look very good against a D3 team.

1-5 North Texas won easily at UTA 77-66. Surprising score.

Mean Green be 3-5, with the loss UTA falls to 4-5, would be interested in Mavs take on this one.

UNT went 21-12 last year, don't know what they lost from that team, but they certainly weren't bad . . .

Im definitely not going to call our team good, but the Mean Green are better than the record suggests. Two of the losses were to Top 25 teams and UNT had a chance to win both of them. The only head scratcher loss was a blowout on the road against Arkansas. I would imagine that North Texas will end up a middle of the pack CUSA team.

if the mavs are the second best team in the sbc...doesnt bode well for the conference. they lost in the end at furman after leading almost the entire game and then eeked by elon...not impressive. something must have have sucked the air out of them after the great game they played at gonzaga. seemed like last night they were mad about something and just going thru the motions..not a very good crowd either for a cross-town rival.

That sounds sinister, but is as good an explanation as any. We have owned UNT the last two decades, so losing to them twice in a row is a major godownance (opposite of comeuppance).

Needless to say, games like this make us all wish we still had Scott Cross here. If we're going to play at this level, it's unlikely UTA will achieve a winning record overall, much less be a threat to win the conference dance bid.

There will be no pressure in Arlington, but Chris Ogden needs to get his stuff together if he hopes to ever win enough to use UTA as a stepping stone.

AState beats Omaha 78-73 behind 12 of 12 from the free throw line in the final 3 minutes.

Two game road trip to Tulsa and Missouri State approaching before our friends from Lafayette come for a visit.

App has a really good chance of finishing with a winning OOC record this year. 5-4 with two left @Howard and @NCSU
