Question: What happens if Memphis loses, SMU wins, and Navy loses?
Besides the obvious we need Cincy to win the championship then and they get home field, who represents the west?

If Memphis, SMU, and Navy all tie at 6-2, Memphis has the tiebreaker for beating both SMU and Navy head-to-head.
CCG would be Memphis at Cincinnati.

With UC fighting Boise St. for the Cotton Bowl berth.

Not if they lose the CCG in Cincy. Then it's up in the air, with Boise maybe ahead.
But if Memphis or Cincy wins out, the AAC gets the NY6 slot.

Whatever outcome gets the AAC the NY6 is the one I want to see happen.

If Memphis wins this Friday but then loses in the title game ... I think Boise at 12-1 gets in over two-loss UC, UM and Navy.

That would be Memphis or UC winning out. So whoever wins Friday needs to win the AAC CG next week to make sure the AAC gets the NY6 slot, with no questions.

As long as the officials are informed, there should be no problem with ensuring whoever wins Friday wins the AAC CG.

But Boise doesn't have any "quality losses"...

Cincy is going to win the championship
Last time Memphis won a football title outright was 1969. Everything else was quarter trophy co-champs.

We've been over this ad nauseam. Memphis clinched a week early in 2014, therefore getting the actual full size trophy. UCF and Cincinnati then became co champions a week later. It was only fair for Memphis to keep the full size trophy since we clinched first. 3/4 size replicas were then sent to UCF and Cincinnati.

My question is, will you be posting on December 8th if you're wrong?........No, you'll go quiet. Man I will be so glad for our guys if they get to hoist that trophy.
Yes, if we are not conference champions on December 8th, I will be here to say congrats to Cincinnati or whoever wins the west if it isn't us.
