Just checked the UC-I website. Game is 7:00 p.m. PST Saturday. Game will be available from one of those pay-to-view webcasts.
UC-I and UDM are playing now in Las Vegas as part of a tourney.
Team is very fortunate. Trips to Jamaica and SoCal. I heard the team flies out on Thanksgiving. I suggested to coach if they continue to win (they have) to take the guys Laguna Beach and let them play some volley ball.
Yeah, a lot of MAC East teams look to be pretty good this year.
Akron went toe-to-toe with #2 Louisville yesterday, while BGSU beat Cincinnati in OT. Kent State is still undefeated, Ohio looks better than expected, and Buffalo isn't what they used to be but still a good MAC team.
Glad we are off to a better than expected season thus far, because the MAC won't be easy.

The MAC basketball is much better this year then last for sure! BGSU appears to be the class of the MAC though! Our strong start has to do with 3 things, are depth, are defensive intensity, and most importantly shooters! Chris James is shooting 53 percent from the field, and 69 percent from 3! And according to Murphy, Binelli is are best shooter!

We'll note that Kent's yellow M&M is right next to EMU's green M&M.
Kent plays OSU tonight so that yellow M&M might be gone tonight.

Rounding up a double digit underdog! If we can score consistently without any offensive droughts, I think it'll be closer! If Barnes and James play more minutes, that'll help as well! They both can stroke it! We can't have any guys shooting 3 for 13, and be allowed to be the 1st option! We've already seen this so far this season, and constantly in the past! Murphy needs to run plays to get his best shooters more shots! James is shooting 69 percent from 3 for example! Break it down for us EagleSam! Hope everyone on this board had a great Thanksgiving!
This is a “house money” game to me. 4th D1 game away from home in a row, all from remote locations against competitive teams. As long as we don’t get massacred, I’ll be ok.
A win would really be something, and it’s quite possible. They play right into our strengths, as they don’t shoot the three well (outside of two guys) and they turn it over a lot (16.5 a game). They are pretty big though, so Toure really needs to stay out of foul trouble.
They looked clueless against the zone last season, in what was a weird, slog of a game. Thompson played 33 minutes, but somehow only took two shots and no free throws. UC Irvine shoot 33% from the floor, turned it over 16 times, and somehow won. I think our team has more resolve than last year’s, and they’ll find a way to win if they can hold them to those numbers again. Looking forward to it.
