Precious despite his obvious shortcomings is a beast who will only get better.

We are young. Early on we are going to be hard pressed to blow out any respectable team. We got up, got momentum and then let up. Once you let up it is hard to get it going again. But these are good early season lessons being learned. So, to be able to hang on and win and get some great real game experience is a double win. If we make free throws at the end then we would have won by close to 10. But again youth reared it’s ugly head and still managed to hang on. Sometimes you just have to appreciate a win no matter how ugly it came.

It was in 2019 I believe.

I see what you did there.

How so? We won. I didn’t see him miss any FTs.

Poor ft shooters in the game in the last 2 min. Should have fouled on the first touch or not at all on their 2nd to last possession.

Who is a poor FT shooter? Precious was in there (at one point), but didn’t get fouled. Tyler and A Lo are both good FT shooters. I’m guessing Boogie can shoot too. He could have given ball up and burned some more clock.

Was referring to Boogie. Even if he is a decent ft shooter, that’s a spot a freshman shouldn’t be put in.

I guess. Some players just have ice water in their veins. I would have trusted A Lo and Harris at the line last season.

Umm, most of our guys are freshmen.

9 freshmen
4 sophomores
1 senior

Idk but I'd say that's most

On a side note, it was funny watching the Ole Miss fans go crazy on the Hail Mary 3 when they were down by 4. It was a great shot but it still left them a point short. They must not teach math at the Harvard of the South.

They may have bet the Ole Miss+3 line.

Most of us were already heading for the door when that happened.

You could flip it around and view it from the ole miss side... they were fortunate to not get beat by 20.

I’ll take those shortcomings all day long when you get 25 and 11, with two blocks and three steals.

Boogie struggled but guards generally take longer, so I'm not that worried. Precious and DJ going off in the absence of Wiseman is not only fun to watch but exactly what we need.
