Well, it looks like the ACC has decided its time to join the rest of the big boys (us, the Big 12, and the Big Ten), and has decided to expand. Now the fun begins. Which teams are going where? ACC expansion candidates include: Miami, Syracuse, Boston College, and Virginia Tech. Plus, there's been some additional rumblings about the Big Ten going for Pittsburgh as its twelfth member. Very interesting times indeed!!

51-7, no, it hasn't always been sorry.

VT won the Sugar not too long ago, and appeared in a national title game against FSU. Pretty good if you ask me.
Pittsburgh used to be a very good football team back during the '80s. I'll admit Pitt stunk during the '90s, but Walt Harris has them going in the right direction again. Syracuse is a lot like Arkansas: not really great, but not really bad either. Just a solid team, with the exception of this year. 03-razz
WVU went to a Sugar Bowl against UF during the '90s also. While they've lost 6 or 7 straight bowls, they still can say they went bowling.
The only really bad teams in the Big East are/were Rutgers & Temple. Even UConn looks better than these two sorry excuses for football teams!!!
I will give Temple credit for at least trying to be competitive, but they're not there yet. Rutgers is just plain sorry. 03-razz 03-razz
