Need to rebound from that 2nd half sunday evening.

Must come out and take over this game on both ends of the court. Really needs to dominate and get a 20+ point win if for nothing else confidence with 2 important games vs GMU and ODU next up both on the road.

Anything less than a 20+ point victory is a loss.

RE: Shenandoah
This may be a very telling game. Anything short of fundamentally over powering a dIII program after a embarrassing loss could mean not much has changed.

Honestly don't think this game will tell us much of anything.

I’m in this camp. A dominate performance really doesn’t tell us how we’d compare to more upper level Mid major talent. I’ll be watching just to get my own personal scouting report on the freshman. Hopefully he can sit Lewis and Banks more and see how the bench plays.

Agree. I honestly don't want to even pay attention to this game. If we do well, it won't be a good representation of how we'll fare against DI competition. If we do poorly it'll just be depressing. Coach and team should just use this time to refine skills and execution, and not even worry about the score.

I agree. Shenandoah lost by 28 to fellow DIII school Mary Washington.

RE: Shenandoah
Agreed that it won't tell us much, but it's an opportunity to work on some things and get everyone involved and feeling positive going into the next road game.

This might be more relevantly foe the Charlotte thread but don’t feel like reviving it. Ron Sanchez and the 49ers with a nice win over Davison yesterday. They might be a strong mid major team next season with some experience.

If this somehow happened, I wouldn’t need to know anymore about this team becuase I would stop watching this season and Rowe would be gone. Probably along with half our team to transfers.

Fun fact: JMU is 2-0 all time against Shenandoah, but have not played the Hornets since they played twice during the 1969-70 season.

I also don't want to see Rowe stick with 6 or 7 guys again. This is a game he's got to start using the bench.

Why schedule a 4pm game at home on a Wednesday with a division III school when you already can't get people to come to a game?

I believe it is an exhibition game for whoever is helping Curt in the booth today. Kid has some major nerves going on.
