The Jones family also roots hard and were a huge part of making me into the rooter I am today. We don't always agree on a lot of things, but that's life. They're still good people.

Hey I get what you are saying......but I also know a lot of good people that have been censored and banned by Carol's heavy hand for simply disagreeing with her point of view.....not being threatening or rude, just disagreeing. She is getting this current backlash b/c it reached a breaking point and folks are fed up and have had enough. Also these comments are appropriate based on the thread topic. I mean folks could have brought them up with Carol directly.....oh that's right if you try to address her directly in any manner your comments either get deleted or you are banned. I think the reactions at this point are deserved and based on her own actions.

I'm not defending her actions at all and you may be and probably are completely justified. I'm just saying that we're all here making comments publicly about someone but from the anonymity of "usernames" on the boards and that makes it an uneven playing field. I getcha and have no issue with you.....was merely saying many folks on 2.0 make these same, similar comments about Carol and her actions without usernames. Folks have also tried to do so directly and she responds by deleting the comments or banning them. It is not an anonymity thing with her, the same comments are on 2.0 with plenty of names of same folks that are here.

We've known you since you were a student yet over the last couple of years you & your crew joined in on plenty of attacks against me, my family and my tailgate group. Mob mentality is easy on social media and it's easy (fun?) to join in with bashing someone to get laughs out of your friends. Thank you for leading the way in breaking away from that mentality. I've got no dog in this fight (pun partially intended) and am fine if someone needs to take it down. It was not meant to be an attack on anyone since I do not know who runs which side and I do not care to know. I was just curious as to why I was seeing so many new groups all of the sudden and why there seemed to be so much animosity. Did not mean to stir the pot much.

That's unfortunate. If you took the time to read it you will see that I say nothing of the sort, but ignorance is bliss I guess. We root like hell for the Dukes and my moderating services are open to any who ask as I noted in my message to you. I don't agree with all things enforced in JMU Nation, but you would have seen that if you took the time to read what I sent you. I am just interested in supporting JMU.

Also, I'll take the "crazy family" rooting for our Dukes and supporting our student-athletes any day. FYI, same last name, but no clue as to the family tree connections...
