Decided to vote absentee today with my 80 year old Mom.

Had to take my Mom to vote absentee because the poll workers in her precinct try to intimidate elderly voters into voting Democrat. They actually told her at the May primary, “We don’t get many of your type here” Not sure if they meant White or Republican....

Also told her....
“Do you want us to fill out your ballot for you since you won’t vote the way we want you too?” My Mom basically told them to shove their candidates up their azzes.

I took her complaints to the local board of elections and nothing was done. Louisville local government is cesspool of Democratic nepotism.

Elections in this country are quickly resembling those held in the Banana Republics.

In 2015, the pre-election polling between Bevin (R.) and Conway (D.) was very close, perhaps tilting slightly in Conway’s favor. But when the votes were counted, Conway had about 43.8% — the lowest % that a D. nominee had gotten for Kentucky Governor since the 1840s.

Ironic you post this. A conservative radio host here in Louisville had a polling expert on his show yesterday talking about the Beshear vs Bevin race for Governor. He said their polling was showing a statistical dead heat.

He said they have learned from past elections in Kentucky that usually means the Republican, Bevin in this case, is well ahead.

Your post confirmed what the statistician said.
