Our effort against Army, which appeared to give so much cause for optimism at the time, has certainly grown stale on the shelf.

The one that got away was Baylor. That could have been our win against against a team currently ranked 109 places above us. A win against a P5, a win against a Top50, and the "signature"win coveted by some. The win some have been looking for, for decades. And it would have helped recruiting a ton.

But as I have noted before, now it is just another "L".

This season, there are plenty of really awful teams. Because of Rice's strength of schedule, there's almost no way that the Owls will finish lower than 127.
