So it's LA Tech & UAB in the West, and Marshall & WKU in the East.

The West can get wild with tiebreakers if UNT beats Tech.

I'd be the beat overall record then, right? Assuming 10-2 (7-1) Tech vs 9-3 (7-1) USM vs 8-4 (7-1) UNT, Tech would still win the division, correct? That's assuming all 3 beat UAB...

Non conference games dont matter in the tiebreakers.
Assuming all beat UAB (which wont happen) It goes to at least CUSA Tiebreaker #6 where you compare records against cross divisional opponents in descending order of finish.

Wow, so if we got to #8, then SoMiss, Tech, UNT in descending order, would all get in over UAB.

C-USA really helped UAB out with playing USM La Tech and UNT 3 of the last 4 weeks of the season. I don't think we win those games if they're played in September. November, we have a chance.

LOL! Well, that ain't gonna happen.
I want to be clear: I'm NOT saying LA Tech will win the championship. We have a lot of games left to play, and some of the games are really tough (@Marshall & @UAB). BUT, we're not going to lose to UNT at home, on Homecoming.

I think the shine has worn off of Mason Fine now. CUSA defenses know how to defend him and UNT now. JMO.

Fine is playing hurt. Littrell likes to run bootlegs with a 5’8” 170 QB and they have no OL

Well, I don't want to take anyone for granted, especially a UNT team led by Mason Fine. But, I just think the LA Tech defense we saw yesterday (4 INT's) against USM is tailor made to stop a Mason Fine led offense.
But right now, we've got to worry about UTEP. El Paso has always been a tough place for us to play. We win there, but we've had some very tough games there.

WKU and La Tech at home are really nice games to have. Fun thing is, if we run the table, we'll see La Tech here again for the title game, again.

And even funnier.....if LA Tech runs the table from here on (entirely possible), you'll get to meet Tech again in the CUSA title game in Ruston.
Imagine that. Going into the 2019 season and having played each other only once in our history, and then playing twice this year.

Pretty sure the tie breaker would have Rice hosting the championship if Marshall and La Tech have the same conference record.

La Tech plays UAB in Birmingham. UAB hasn’t lost a home game since Obama was President.

FYI, last two teams to beat UAB in Birmingham were Marshall and Louisiana Tech in 2014.
4-8 FIU was your only other home loss that year. You also had an impressive win @WKU that year.
