Duke Club auction
Just a heads up for the jerseys being auctioned off right now. The current set being auctioned are the gray jerseys from the 2018 Family Weekend Elon loss.

I think I missed an auction or two since the gold ones... Is this the first time they've had them ending all at once instead of in order of the numbers? Makes it a little tougher to take more than one shot at it. Regardless, I don't love the grey jerseys but I don't hate them either, there are a few numbers I'll watch and jump on one if they don't go up much.

If you need some dough to get a gray jersey, my offer to take the Gold #16 off your hands from 6 years ago still stands.

I'm sure the sizes are for those more athletic types - probably a good idea to size up if we want to wear them?

I don’t think I’d dare wear a gray jersey from a home loss to Elon...

But, hey! That’s just me

haha sorry but I'll take the gold 16 all day over any of the grey ones. Marlowe is one of my favorite Dukes ever.

I normally wear medium and medium is what I got for the black and the gold. It still fits a little weird just because it's an actual game jersey(it's long and has very very short sleeves that are kinda tight up in your arm pits) but I think my usual size fits better than any other would. In my opinion as a medium I'd say to go true to size, maybe others can chime in on other sizes.

Curious why they didn’t differentiate the jersey numbers that had players wearing it on O and another on D. They had a silent auction the other night at the Friday Night Flights for a #6 and the bids quickly went from $100 to $150 to $2000 which is where it probably ended. Not sure if it was DiNucci or Moreland’s shirt which would leave the other #6 in this auction.

That would be an NCAA violation to sell the player's likeness.

The purchaser might have been a Californian. 03-lmfao

Yes it would be if it were listed as #6 Ben DiNucci but to say #6/O or #6 offense shouldn’t be a problem.

The are advertising this #6 as a medium. Which in football jerseys equals Smedium. 99% that this one is Jimmys. Dont think Nooch would wear one that small at 6'2'' 220.

Personally, I think actual game jerseys are best in a shadow box rather than wearing. They look rather odd when I see them on people. They're really tight, even if it were an offensive lineman's they are still tight with small sleeves that are puffy meant to go over pads. Got nothing against purchasing for display to show you're a proud Duke, but for me I'd rather wear a fake.

Agreed, but there’s a whole game-used jersey market out there. $100 for a store-bought replica which has little to no value versus $100 for the better quality gamers that have value, at least should get your money back? I’ll take the gamer.

The replicas value is that it can actually be used as clothing, vs a large cloth psuedo-trading card game jersey. Bought both over the years, but probably won't buy another game jersey unless I think it'll look really good on my wall.

You could put on some pads under the actual game jersey, stick a helmet under your arms and really look like the ambassador of root'n as you make your way into the stadium.

Scratch that, the helmet won't fit in the clear bag allowed by the gestapo.

Which these definitely won't. I'm holding out for a white/purple/black/gold/really anything other than these ugly ones.

I mean, Raiders fans do something similar right? Would be pretty interesting to see a group of JMU fans do the same.

The #6 jersey auctioned at the Friday Night Flights event was a size small...definitely Jimmy's.

Looks like they went back in and added some jerseys for the numbers that had multiple wearers and some are sized differently.
