PSA On Red Meat: The Party Of Science Isn't Going To Like This One
Now apply this to everything you think you "know" about "climate change".

The replies where the NPCs are trying to square the science of yesterday with the science of today, and how those two contradict one another, and if they should update their operating systems and thus, their identities, are glorious.

Quote:Public health officials for years have urged Americans to limit consumption of red meat and processed meats because of concerns that these foods are linked to heart disease, cancer and other ills.

But on Monday, in a remarkable turnabout, an international collaboration of researchers produced a series of analyses concluding that the advice, a bedrock of almost all dietary guidelines, is not backed by good scientific evidence.

Remember they also said butter was bad for you. That led to the use of Trans-fats which may have killed more Americans than any carcinogen.

1. Good, because I love my steaks (medium rare).
2. Feel-good food advice without much basis in science has been going on forever. Not too surprised at this.

Everything in moderation is fine. It doesn't take a scientist to know that people pre-dis-positioned to high Triglycerides and heart problems shouldn't be filling their diet with saturated fats, but enjoying a thick cut ribeye med-rare from time to time isn't going to kill anyone.

Reminds me of something they found that causes cancer in white mice.

They only want to bring science into the picture when hey feel it reinforces their position but they never would agree that God gave us canines for tearing into meat and it's also in the Bible that he gave us power over animals for our survival. Liberals are so dumb.

Reminds me of one of my favorite Steven Wright jokes:

Scientist have found that oxygen can cause cancer, but only if taken in small amounts over a long period of time.
