That is hilarious. Tuscaloosa is not even where people in Alabama go for good food. Never mind people around the country.

Austin? Eh, I’m sure they’ve got some solid restaurants... But ahead of New Orleans? Yeah, whatever.
Weird list because Tuscaloosa? There are more great restaurants in my neighborhood than the whole city. I also imagine that for some cities they picked straight up touristy places. Example: For Atlanta's they picked literally the cool Curbed Atlanta or AJC newspaper version of where to eat. Superica IS the maximum exponent of South Texas/Northern Mexico food. Chef / owner is from the area and he nailed in a way nobody ever has here. But Varsity? Come on! Silver Skillet? This is a city of 6.5M. There are a ton of places better. Skips Chicago Hot Dogs in Avondale kicks the Varsity 's but in every conceivable way and have been around 40 years. Want serious Southern/Georgian breakfast? Old Hickory House in Tucker/Northlake area. And for BBQ, as someone who has three smokers and doesn't eat many people's BBQ I can tell you, you will be blown away by Wood's Chapel BBQ on Georgia Avenue two blocks from our stadium. I imagine the lists from other cities have similar issues.

That's easy. Memphis Barbeque.

Attend the annual Memphis Barbeque Fest and decide for yourself.

We don't only do just Barbeque. Man vs. Food episode 2 of Season 1 was in Memphis.

Memphis isn't even the best BBQ overall .. let alone best food.

You've got to come to Cincinnati and try the carbon tetrachloride catfish that swim down from Pittsburgh.

Gotta say, your take about Varsity is spot on. I was never remotely impressed with it. However, I think Atlanta in general is pretty underrated as a food town. There's a Mongolian place up near the Braves new stadium that is freaking awesome!

It's such a huge international city that you can find most any cuisine imaginable. Very underrated.

Varsity sucks and I agree that the ATL is a solid food town.

You people do realize NOLA has several 4 star steakhouses. Some of the best vietnamese and south asian food in the country. A huge push on BBQ places that rival some of the better texas places (not the best so relax). Fried chicken joints are absurdly good. There are a number of Italian places that are solid. Oh and po boys that are ridiculous. Add in food trucks, pop ups and oh creole cuisine.
We have per capita more high quality restaurants than anywhere in the world. To say NOLA IS CREOLE OR GOD FORBID CAJUN IS IGNORANT.

If NOLA was #3 cuisine in the national CFB survey, it makes perfect sense for Tulane to be #1 in the AAC poll!
