Both UMass and Buffalo are flagship type schools, and Buffalo is AAU.

ESPN could probably accept Buffalo, AFA, Colo. State, VCU, SDSU, possibly UMass from a marketplace standpoint, but not Charlotte or Coastal Carolina, etc., etc. or UAB, etc.

Why do you think any of the MWC schools want the extra travel and hassle of going to AAC? MWC is a good conference, with reasonable geography. BYU wants no part of AAC, so you all might as well not mention them, which is too bad because you need each other.

The American does not need BYU; they need us (or the MW). Personally, I don’t think they add anything except as you say too much travel.

Why would any MW team want to join the American? I can give you seven million reasons why.

Your troll efforts are weakening due to your temper tantrums. Try to focus some.

What delusions? My points were:
1. American does not need BYU. Our recent contract would not improve with BYU in the league.
2. BYU needs the American or the MW. They need a conference to gain access to championships and better bowls and NY6.
3. BYU is too far. It is a cross country flight for half of our conference.
4. American has a new ESPN contract worth $7 million per year. That would be attractive to many MW schools making much less.
5. I mean this as a way to help; your posts are becoming more and more unhinged.
Again, no delusions above, only facts.

I could care less about BYU, I should have used the word deserve instead of need. Again, the reason your contracts will always be higher is you have more eyeballs. But more money does not equal better performance.
