Dude I’m a believer. I’m joining the Team Asher cult. Bring on Duke.

He probably should have started last year, if so we may have had a CUSA championship.

We have three years. I expect awesome things. We will not drop momentum from last year’s east division championship.

With that kind of talent at QB I'm surprised you didn't beat Michigan.

Makes Dwight Dasher look like JV

He throws the ball better than Dasher but not quite as fast.

It was an FCS team that gave you a dogfight until late. Let’s see what happens.

First MT QB in school history to throw over 300 and rush for over 100 in the same game.

If he plays poker, I 'bet' he's a lot better at it than Dasher was/is.

You have to understand the fear. We lost the best QB we've ever had (statistically) at the school so we were worried as fans if we would have someone good enough to take the helm and lead us. I think we have that now. It was a dogfight. Chris Rowland is probably one of the most dynamic WR skill players I've seen us face in many years. Trent Taylor or the 2 WKU WR's in 14,15 and 16. Other than that, I can't think of any as good as that kid we faced last night. Why we didn't recruit the crap out of him, I have no idea. He grew up in our backyard. SMH

MT doesn't win that game without O'Hara's performance last night. I don't think Brent Stockstill would have won that game for us.

A tn state fan called O'Hara, the 'white Michael Vick'

Fair enough.

As long as O'Hara doesn't start raising Pit Bulls and fight them; that will be all right by me! O'Hara did have an awesome game. But, let's temper our enthusiasm, cause according to Rod Reed TSU had it's two starting DBs out with injuries. On the other hand, he did concede that "No. 10 beat us!" So, we'll see after a few more games.
Just get MT a split with Duke/Iowa and then we really got something.

That's an interesting comparison. One I don't really prescribe to though. Vick had a howitzer on his left shoulder. He could throw the ball 70 yards. Asher doesn't have anywhere near that type of arm strength.

His evasiveness, agility, and athleticism as well as his gunslinger type passing reminds me of Johnny Manziel. Let's hope Asher has it together better between the ears than Manziel though.

He might get his head knocked off if he keeps doing that hurdle over defenders.

I commented after last season that our offense could be horrible without a surprising positive addition. Looks like O’hara is that, and more. Outstanding start to the year, and he’s only a sophomore. Gotta feel good about the Duke game. Hope we can grab some of the hemorrhaging UT support and have a full house this weekend.

RE: Asher O'hara -- Nearly 500 yards of total offense.
Our two deep on our OL doesn't even have our only two starters from last season listed, though they have played a little bit in each of the last two games. Not sure if that says anything about those two or says more about our current two deep at OL.

Keeping Asher O'Hara healthy is something the OL has to do.
