The NFL Network is channel 212 on DirecTV. On Dish, the NFL Network is channel 154.

Camera crew is doing well. They show the non-crowd only when absolutely necessary. Maybe 10,000. Seems the sun only shines in Ruston, other schools are going full blast with crowds hardly affected at all.

As someone who is there, there were a lot of people under the stands throughout the first half. There are now people leaving after halftime. I can’t blame them, its 102 and feels worse.

Rice beat Western Michigan in the Texas Bowl on the NFL Network back in 2008. That might have been the first NCAA game on the network.
Today might have been the first regular season NCAA game on the channel.

Also, in other news, Tech stops Grambling on fourth down at midfield to hang on to the 20-14 win.

When the cheer squads and bands are taken into the football complex it's freaking hot. Gotta love CUSA's TV deals. 2:30 kickoff in the deep South in summer is such a great idea. I had 102° in the second quarter with a heat index of 111° whatever the number was I'm thankful there didn't appear to be that many people that had to have assist with heat related illnesses.
