I read an article a few years ago about a survey on why college students go to football games. The food was #2. Hope this carries over to basketball. It would help attendance. Nobody wants to pay high prices for the crappy food that has been available.

Agreed, but I am reserving judgment until I see cost, taste and nobody wants to pay high prices for food they have to wait 1/2 hr in line to get.

Reasonable thinking. They did mention prices, this or another article. Seem to recall in the $6-7 range? $9-10 to get a decent lunch anymore. Drinks will still be high priced, you can bet.

The 1/2 hour line is a concern I hadn't thought of and agree. That might be first on the list of concerns. They need better logistics.

$3.39 and $3.39 (10 for $25.99) in real life, plus $.59 for cheese.

Who comes up with these prices at Packos? Does 3.39 round out to something even in Hungarian cash?

As I said on an earlier thread announcing Packos, I wouldn't be too into the dogs (though at $4 I might go for the Hungarian) but when the weather gets nippy, I'd be in for a bowl or cup and some pickles.

Unless I misread, Hungarians are $5, not sure if they come with all the extras at that price or not. Are they selling sauce on the side as well?

A lot of stadiums get $5-6 for a dog and $9-10 for a beer.

Big difference from the days of drink n drown at the Brass Bell or the Agora. Or all you can buffet at Pizza Inn.

adding more food items is great (especially there have been complaints about it for years, hopefully prices are not too out of hand, and enough well trained staff to keep the lines moving

I was declaring MY pricepoint. At $4, I'd probably buy a Hungarian. At $5, I'll spend my money more productively elsewhere. BTW: those prices I quoted were off Packo's menu. Puzzling why hot dog and Hungarians are the same price at the restaurant but different by 20% at the GB.

RE: Bacon on a Stick
Sounds phenomenal! I have to say that I went to the SFS game on Friday and got a Dominos pizza slice. It was awful. Dominos makes a decent pizza but what they served at the Glass Bowl tasted like it was left to get cold and then re-heated. I’v Had better next-day pizza. There’s a store less than 1000 feet from the stadium- it seems they could run fresh pizzas in a golf cart t to the concessions. I hope that gets fixed.
