Not much to say about this game so far. Going as expected. Run game does not look good at all though.

Run game was decent. Passing game good. Defense, not so much.

North Texas kept it vanilla tonight. It was a nice glorified scrimmage, and we are right where we need to be after Week 1. SMU gets to see more of the playbook and more schemes from our defense. Were there some let downs and mental lapses? Sure, but there is always a little rust at the beginning of the season. I feel very good about our road game at SMU next week.

One of these days you, guys, have to install some defense...

We have a defense installed but after about half way through the scripts crashed which caused the system to lock up. Fortunately, by that time the installed offense had already completed all of it's tasks. Instead of fixing the issue at the time of the crash, we left it for the coaching staff to reinstall next week.

Or you can try to continue optimizing your offense to offset having to run the OS without a legitimate defense. It's not impossible but highly unlikely.
