RE: Depth Charts
Arkansas State released theirs not long ago. Nothing wildly unexpected on it.

RE: Depth Charts
No big surprises, but a few noteworthy things from ours:

1. We are starting Logan Wright at running back instead of our Oklahoma State transfer. I agree with it, honestly. Wright gives us the best chance to keep the chains moving and limit LSU possessions. He's the power back.

2. We have a new punter with some serious range. Between him and a kicker that could very well be our second FBS all-American at the position, we should have the best special teams in the conference and get some nice field position.

3. Our top O lineman is out for the year which really sucks, but we have a pretty good starter from two seasons ago back from a eye injury that forced him to miss all of 2018. And better depth than we've had.

4. Georgia Southern's Khaleb Hood is a true freshman to keep an eye on this season. He's going to be a real weapon at slot and I expect him to be the starter not too far into the season.

The Jags' depth chart has been released to preferred supporters, but I would have to go into the witness protection program should I reveal it.

The biggest surprise is that our starting TE from last year, who is on the Mackey watchlist and is 1st team pre-season all conference, is now our 3rd string TE.

Could be. That’s what the OR is for. He’ll play. It’s him and Reed. Ayers is basically a fullback.

Yeah, I know Ayers is just in there to block.

App's Game Notes are up.

"The five most recent FBS running backs with a minimum of 1,100
rushing yards at 5.0 ypc, a kick return for a score and a TD reception
in a season are Evans, Saquon Barkley, Rashaad Penny, Joe Mixon and
Christian McCaffrey" - On Darrynton Evans

Another fun fact, Drink has never lost a Bowl Game and neither has App.

Any one know why Corey Sutton isn't on App's Week One Depth Chart?

All our RB's will see a lot of playing time. It will be such a rotation, that they all could have been called starters. I think Wright getting the starting nod has to do with him being here longer.

Bold move Cotton. We will see how it works out. If ETSU isn't running two-deep safety and tries to man up outside, send Virgil on a 100 Meter dash four or five times.

Which makes me wonder if the new OC Heckendorf from UNC is more serious about blocking TEs than receiving TEs. Both Reed and Ayers looked good to me in fall scrimmages - especially Ayers - that guy is just looking to blow some poor defender up.

Troy just released theirs. No big surprises here either.

Something noteworthy is that Troy has named our big JUCO recruit WR Reggie Todd as a starter at WR and Returner. I feel he's going to be our next Damion Willis.

RE: Depth Charts
Here is Reggie Todd's highlights from his freshman year at Mississippi State. You can see why he is probably named the starter:

RE: Depth Charts
The entire offense looks great. Very happy about that.

The front seven is fire, top to bottom. Only concern is a starting defensive tackle playing at 245 lbs.

Secondary is green, and I hope we don't regress with everyone we lost to graduation and the portal.

We will likely again, for several years in a row, have one of the nations top return games. Between Todd, Frye, and Geiger, I can't see this not being an electrifying unit.

It’s not necessarily Heck as it is we have so many playmakers already that the TE’s can be used to stay in and block more, which is needed right now.
