The QB limits how many they have to block

The TE and FB simply change where the gaps can be

What?

Mostly true
The QB limits how many they have to block
Not necessarily
The TE and FB simply change where the gaps can be
Can't change where the gaps can be but a TE does add an extra gap along the line.

Why do they call it "Fall Camp"? It's not Fall. It doesn't feel like Fall, not even close.

Well, in my experience, from what I have seen first hand, it is because the defense is known to FALL all over itself trying to cover a wiley offense.

So why was it called Fall Camp under Bailiff and the offenses his last three years?

Spring Semester ---> Spring Football

Fall Semester ---> Fall Camp

But camp is basically before the Fall semester starts and doesn’t actually extend into the Fall like the semester does.

How about August camp? Or better yet, Hot as H e l l Camp?

Go Owls!
