MW considering a neutral site football CCG
So the MW is actually discussing moving the CCG to a neutral site.

"Thompson said the conference has floated the idea of a neutral-site championship game to its coaches and athletic directors.
If the game isn’t hosted by a divisional champion, it could be played in either Los Angeles or Las Vegas, Thompson said Wednesday during a press conference at Mountain West media days.
“We’ve talked about that in the last couple meetings,” Thompson said. “There’s interest in exploring it, no question.”
The league could move its championship game to a neutral site as soon as the 2020 season."

Probably a good idea, they would sell more at a warm weather site rather than someplace like Logan or Laramie in December.

Bad move.
What kind of attendance in Vegas or LA will you get with a week's notice if you can't even get decent attendance at the top division winner's home field?
