Unfortunately there's not a lot of media dedicated to the G5 as a whole, so something like this is exactly what I've been looking for. I hope you do it all this season and for seasons to come!

Thanks for the listen! This is exactly why we wanted to do this podcast. MAC preview coming out in two weeks. I’ll bump this thread again when we release it but it will be Monday July 22!

Enjoyed the MAC preview. Have to disagree with the NIU assessment given die hard fans are more in tune with YoY changes, but enjoyed hearing about all teams none the less.

Listened to it. It was great! Should probably bring up that while WMU has the offensive talent to win the MAC and be very good, coaching has held us back some. The Defense also has to improve BIGTIME as well.

But spot-on: any of EMU, UT, NIU, and WMU can win it this year. And East is pretty much Miami, Ohio and everyone else. Maybe Buffalo can challenge.

Good podcast! Although when they mentioned WMU has good linebackers they rattled off NIU's linebackers.

I don't mean to be a d!ck but if they didn't know how to pronounce the name of NIU's QB that kind of makes you wonder if they even saw a minute of MAC football at all. It just seemed like some guys got a Phil Steele magazine and were discussing it. That said it's a great concept and any more coverage/discussion of MAC/G5 is welcome.
