Huntington-Charleston media market is bigger than all 3 of theirs. Please don't try to add MTSU in with Nashville.
MTSU is in the Nashville market. If you're going to lump Huntington and Charleston together then you need to also add MTSU in Nashville considering Nashville's actually closer to Murfreesboro then Huntington is to Charleston.
Further, I'm looking at this with a completely unbiased view.
Obviously, I would love to have Marshall in the conversation, but I'm looking at things objectively,

If I wanted someone that would win football games, I'd go:
1) Southern Miss
2) Marshall
3) Louisiana Tech
4) North Texas
If I wanted to continue whatever the phuck it is the AAC has been doing, most of which I don't understand, I'd go:
1) FIU (enrollment, recruiting, market,academics)
2) UAB (academics, market)
3) North Texas (market, academics, music department, actual football)
4) Rice (academics, makes as much sense as Tulsa)
5) Charlotte (market, academics, makes as much sense as Tulane)
6) Old Dominion (budget, recruiting)

Middle Tennessee state is in the Nashville market. If you're going to lump Huntington and Charleston together then you need to also add MTSU in Nashville considering Nashville's actually closer to Murfreesboro then Huntington is to Charleston.

You're right. I just looked. Murfreesboro is included in the Nashville market.
Huntington-Charleston is ranked #70
El Paso #85
Bowling Green, KY #181
Tell me again who those two are ranked ahead of us?

Murfreesboro is most certainly in the Nashville MSA.

Yeah, I don't know it's close. We're all kinda splitting hairs down at the bottom.
If the AAC wants a market, none of us are an option.
I have to believe they want more than just a market, however.

What football games has Southern Miss won lately?
I will defer this question to Louisiana Tech and Marshall.
