Dallas Morning News reports that During the Friday President's conference call a decision could very likely be made on who to invite as the 12th team!!! The Commish(BB) said a decision on the school to be invited would likely be made. I don't care who it is, I'll just be glad to get it over with so all the La Tech bashing is over with and we can move on. I hope it's UNT, then everyone would probably be pis$ed off!!! :rofl:

UTEP is the one, I'm still not sure why exactly but since they are a member I 'm all for them. I hope they can improve their football like we did and maintain some kind of basketball now that Billy G is gone. I know some of the Eastern schools favored them because they were going to have to fly all of their teams whether it was La Tech or UTEP so the expense was not a big deal to them, where as most of the Western Divisions minor sports teams could have gone by van or bus, especially if La Tech and Tulane were scheduled back to back. UTEP will cost us a bunch of money for our minor sports----I hope they are worth it!! Best of luck to them now that they are in!!!
