Hi Guys,

I'm originally from Columbia, SC, earned my doctoral degree at USM and now live in Statesboro, GA where I teach at Georgia Southern University. In case you'e wondering, yes, we plan to win the I-AA national championship this year! I'm enjoying this board, let's keep it active! For the record, I miss Hattiesburg. It is a little slice of Heaven!

Good to have you here! I've got some friends that graduated from Georgia Southern, and have a lot of respect for that university.

Don't be a stranger around here!

Hi Folks,

Thanks for all the kind words. I look forward to chatting about USM sports, especially during football season. Yeah, GSU is a nice place and it has been a good year. I'll be teaching second summer session but hopefully working in my yard during summer one.

What is the word on the search for a women's basketball coach? Maybe this should be under a different thread. I'll be in touch. Have a good one!

Hello all of you fine Southern Miss folks. I am an LSU fan but pull for Southern also. Do not ask who I would pull for if they played it should be obivious because I will not deny my cajun roots.

I currently live in Chicago but I am from Hattiesburg. By the way I really like Chicago but Hattiesburg has to be the finest city in the Nation. Oh hell I mean the Planet.

Go Eagles as long as you are not playing LSU. I do not think it will ever happen though. It would be a good game though because those Eagles are though. 04-cheers

Actually, we play again in either 2006 or 2007, in Baton Rouge.
