Yea, I'm a little unsure what he's talking about.

If nothing else the association, the hiring of Petrino & Pitino with no actual guilt involved. If we did that, we'd get the death penalty just for hiring those guys. Understand, I think both are great coaches but their collective baggage would have the NCAA bury us for no cause, just based on speculation if we ever did anything successful. I do think Jurich was a great AD but his dirt is his associations & Memphis right or wrong would not survive those associations. But my main point was that of Jurich's strong personality even granting he's a very talented AD with a vision we badly need here. I just don't think he'd be a good fit with Dr Rudd who is a hands on guy himself.

This is a no brainer for Rudd assuming that we could actually afford himl!!

No other AD that is probably under consideration has this type of experience and ability to get things DONE!

I popped over here to read about the incredible recruiting class you all have put together, and saw this thread, and couldn't resist. My first reaction was "no way Jurich takes that gig." Which is a knee jerk reaction to a rival, possibly hiring your former anything. But ... I was intrigued enough to ask some people up here who could know ...

And I'd say not to automatically discount the possibility.

Which ... if it does come to fruition ... you guys would be on the fast track to huge things, that I can guarantee. TJ is a magician. And knows how to make the seemingly impossible happen.

I have a new respect for Louisville...I live in Western Kentucky...and my wife had her cancer treated at UofL hospital. She's still here to talk about it...after being given 32% odds if beating it.
