MyBB *** College Basketball 2019-2020 Preseason Top 25 --- This May Change ***
https://collegebasketball.nbcsports.com/...on-top-25/

There is so much that is going to happen between now and the time that next season starts that it almost seems foolish to publish a preseason top 25 today.

But we’re doing it anyway!

A couple of notes: Who is going to head to the NBA is very much in the air right now. There are still a number of freshmen that have yet to announce where they are playing their college ball. The transfer market has barely heated up. For decisions that are up in the air, you’ll see an asterisk next to their name. We’re making predictions on what certain players will do and ranking based off of them.

If the projected starters for Memphis holds true...

Either our returning players have improved dramatically during the offseason or we are in serious trouble.

They omitted Quinones and Ryan Boyce for Memphis, but who's counting?

Depends on if they mean starters day one or by the end of the year

No way in hell any of Harris, Lomax or Maurice start.

I would guess Wiseman, Precious, Jeffries, Tucker and Boogie.

Leaving Quinones, Dandridge, Lance Thomas, Baugh, Harris, Lomax and Maurice on the bench. And Ryan Boyce.

Wow. 9 seems a bit high, but still....this league may be brutal to play in next season. Everyone except maybe UCF, Cincy, and Temple? should be better to some degree.

I say Harris has a shot at Starting...

With his range...If he can get that 3 point percentage up to 40% he likely will start.

Even with his size he still a defensive pest and with Precious and Wiseman behind him it will be to his advantage to be able to play up tight.

I believe that making any predictions regarding starting rotations at this point is just speculation that doesn't even reflect the final makeup of what Memphis or any other team will look like in November. Too early...

Maryland at 6? 17-19 are a joke as well. Why in the world is X sniffing a Top 25?

Pre season Top 25 lists are always funny, but come on. You can't just assume best case scenarios for some teams...

Well, Memphis' roster is done except waiting on Precious, and my post was with the assumption he comes. If not, Lance Thomas would likely start at the 4.

The preseason top 25 is ridiculous when the AP releases it in November. Fans taking a swing in May will never have the right answer. There's a lot I disagree with (especially Nova; 20-21 will be their year), but anything I came up with would be just as wrong.
