Goes to show this is a political hissy fit more than anything else.
Nadler says it wouldn’t be ‘fair’ for him to read it since others couldn’t. You can’t make this chit up. Besides the libs will take that as a legitimate answer.
There's a reason some don't want to read it. They already know it doesn't tell them what they demand to hear..

Plus, a lot of them (D and R) wouldn’t be able to understand it if they did read it. Yet their having spent time in the SCIF would be a matter of public record, so every time media asked them a question about it, their ignorance would stand out even more than usual. So unfair.

The lazy factor can’t be ignored either. Some of these knuckleheads would be in there a week. It is 400 pages you know.....

RE: House contempt hearing
He is being held in contempt because he won't comply with the Democrats' demand that he break the law by releasing grand jury testimony.
It is a farce, merely intended to discredit Barr when he inevitably goes on the offensive with his investigation into the origins of the Mueller investigation.

But he still wants the tax returns, which by law he can share with only a very few, and nothing publicly. I guess he doesn't care whether that's "fair."
