The president retweets you, and it's the media's job to utterly destroy you in attempt to score cheap political points against the president. They're trying to shift the narrative that the president isn't raising valid concerns over the degradation of our cultural value of free speech (if not constitutional right since muh private companies), he's defending "conspiracy theorists" and "white nationalists".

A NBC reporter may have just goofed up though, and created a Covington-type situation for himself when he claimed Lauren "shot road flares toward immigrants" (migrants).

That objectively never happened. Never mind the fact that you can't "shoot" a hand flare, but there's a video of the event proving that she never shoots anything. She holds it for light, and it never leaves the boat.

Here's the entire encounter. You can tell he's flustered whenever she corrects him and asks for a retraction, and he just copy pastas a wapo opinion piece as if it's proof of something. Yikes.

These smear merchants need to be held accountable.

It is a natural extension for a couple of generations who have never been told they were wrong, never had to face actual punishment for misdeeds, and who sincerely believe that if their buddies think it is okay that they will never ever face punishment and there is no buddy so big as Corporate News Agency with a single party line.

Her twitter mentions are radioactive at the moment. The call has obviously gone out and the blue check-marks are swarming, in a thinly-veiled attempt to bully her into dropping it.

They rarely work...but the threat of expensive, attention-grabbing litigation usually works quite well.
