He's following Hllary's playbook to beat Sanders.

Why? When has he ever been "better than that"?

I don't know. Maybe it was the "grandpa Joe" thing. You are correct, I should have known better.

And right on cue:

"Former Vice President Joe Biden's entry into the 2020 Democratic presidential race is increasing the pressure on Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) to make inroads with black voters.

Sanders has been well aware of his need to attract support from African Americans, and he’s sought since entering the race to fix a problem that impaired him in 2016, when he ran a tougher than expected primary challenge against Hillary Clinton.

Clinton was greatly helped in her victory by black votes. She won them by more than 70 percent over Sanders...."

Wasn't he the one that did the "they'll put you back in chains" speech?

Why wouldn't we label him a divider? Let's hear your reasons for our obliviousness.

The current POtuS gets on Twitter 50 times a day trolling people and dividing people but Obama is a divider?

I think it's mostly due to expectations.

President Obama took office in 2009 with an unprecedented opportunity to unite this country. It would not have been hard to do, with an impressive voter mandate, a winning persona and a media ready to wave the pom poms every time he passed gas. He unfortunately proved to be unable to deliver on what should have been a lay up -- showing himself to be thin-skinned and incompetent.

President Trump, on the other hand, took office in a shocking victory. At no point during the campaign did he ever hold himself out as anything other than what he was -- an uncouth, inarticulate blowhard. The anointed geniuses on the left all predicted disaster on every front -- economic, foreign policy and culturally. Yet, two years later, none of that has come to pass.

History will not be kind to President Obysmal.

President Trump has yet to define his legacy. But he is beating expectations (including my own) by a mile.

Exactly. He had a chance to really heal the racial divide, but made it deeper. How are Blacks to feel when a Black president acts like he's helpless to do anything about police mistreatment of Blacks-and plays it into a bigger problem than it really is.

And he was the first president in my lifetime who didn't try to be president of everyone. Hillary's deplorables had its roots in the Obama administration's attitudes to those who didn't worship him.

Yep. When presented with an opportunity to ease tensions between "groups" in this country he fumbled on the one yard line going in for a winning score.

He just couldn't help himself from fomenting discontent between people. He reverted to his old agitating community organizer world belief.

He played politics and the result was worse relations between the various groups than before the took office. He came in unprepared for a chief executive role and never grew into it..........he never became an effective leader because he isn't a leader.

Almost 66 million people voted for Hillary. That answer your question?
