Also, by pushing all-in on whatever the first Daily Double he gets is, he jumps wayy ahead when he gets it, and if he doesn't he figures he's good enough that he'll still get more questions correct even if he starts again from zero, as the other players would not be too far ahead at that point.

Like Luke at the first Death Star, one has to calm themselves and ignore what he's doing and just calmly play their own game to beat him. He can be defeated, but it won't be easy. May the Force be with you!

The other thing he will do is change categories often. You'll almost never see anyone run a whole category when he is playing. He exploits the advantage of knowing what the next question is about before his opponents when he controls the board.

I read an interview with Trebek and he said that was his biggest pet peeve of contestants. But, this is good for the show.
