Quirks of the 2019 NFL Draft
There were seven former 5-star players who were passed over in this year's NFL draft - the Florida Gators had a pair of them - but none were more of a head-scratcher than Clemson's Mitch Hyatt. This guys only gave up 5 QB sacks in his 4-year career! Yes, that's 5 sacks in 2,076 career pass-blocking attempts... yet no NFL team wanted to draft him? (He ended up signing a free agent contract with the Dallas Cowboys)

What about your team - any bizarre/quirky NFL draft results? (It's the off season).

RE: Quirks of the 2019 NFL Draft
Eric Dungey, who set all kinds of records at SU was not drafted. Has not even signed as a FA. We think its because NFL teams are scared off because of his history of injuries. Remember he missed a total of 14 games in his college career and never finished a season without getting hurt until this season. Even then he missed almost all of the ND game after getting hurt in the middle of the first qtr. Folks are rumoring that he has been negotiating the best FA opportunity and thats why he hasnt signed yet. I would like for that to be true, but I dont know. He put up better numbers than many of the QB's that were drafted even though he missed 14 games. I would love to see that kid get a chance to make a roster.

The same day that I posted this, news comes out that Eric Dungey signed a Free Agent deal with the Giants. So I guess he really was trying to negotiate the best FA deal.
